"A lounge of self-expressionism, designed to give a blank canvas in the form of the entire space, to anyone who wishes to project their scribbles and doodles. We envision a space... all white, and primed to be covered in thoughts and expression. We will bring in inspiration in the form of models in outlandish costumes, to spark creativity, and jump start the process.
White walls, White Couches, White pedestals... A clean space. Markers, and more markers. A bar. and a DJ. That is what you would see in the morning of the first day of the Ingenuity Fest. An unmolested space, ripe for people to come in hang out, get a drink, and doodle all over every surface in the space. We will bring in some of the areas local artists to spark up the walls, but persuade all who enter to pick up a marker and go to town on the walls. There will be big markers small markers, different colors, all to get people's creativity flowing. A DJ spinning some deep cuts to get your groove on and hang out, move, and draw. To add inspiration, we will bring in some of the areas most colorful characters, in ornate costumes to pose as models, as well as hand out markers and drawing utensils.
Saturday night we will swap out some of the walls with black walls and put out florescent paints and markers, turn on the black lights, and get trippy for 4 hours of black light doodles!
The over all space by the end of the last day will be covered from ceiling to floor with Cleveland's thoughts, scribbles, and doodles.
A full functioning bar would be place within the Doodle Bar Area. Drinks and other refreshments would be provided by the Ingenuity Festival vendors."
