While pursuing a PhD. at Case Western Reserve University, Alexander Boxerbaum has amazingly still found time to achieve his dream of making a feature-length film, which will be featured in this year’s Ingenuity Festival. His film, “36 Views of a Bridge,” was inspired by Hokusai’s “36 Views of Mt. Fuji” but instead of using the traditional woodcuts, Alexander Boxerbaum has used time-lapse photography of the Veterans’ Memorial Bridge to expose how - as thousands of people live their lives - the city lives and breathes a life of its own.
