Open the festival with a bang! Icho Daiko brings an explosive percussive sound to the bridge with a Japanese drumming style to get the festival started off right! Icho Daiko is currently comprised of nine members of the Cleveland, Akron, and Oberlin communities. The group builds its own drums, including shime, chudaiko, and okedo drums.
